Tyce is an interesting character. He has a physical handicap but, his robot body lets him wander Mars unlike any one else. It is an exciting story and a pretty quick read for my teenager. I find teens often don't want to read really long books. (With the exception of Harry Potter stories.) While the book briefly discusses Tyces relationship with God its definately not an overly "preachy" book. We aren't christians, but my kids and I enjoyed the story and are reading more of the series.
